This EYFS/KS1 Winter Programme runs for approximately 1-1½ hours and focusses on how the winter season affects woodland life at Conkers, including the many animals that make it their home. The children will listen and discuss the story of Ned the hedgehog and how different woodland animals manage to survive the chilly winter months. The children will then take a short woodland walk in search of the animals from the story and collect woodland materials which they will use to decorate a woodland animal. All of our winter programmes take place in heated education rooms.
As part of a winter visit to Conkers, we offer indoor areas for the children to eat lunch, a ride on the Conkerchoo train, access to the indoor and outdoor play areas and free 4D cinema viewings! FREE teacher previews are welcomed! Perfect for a winter visit - we also offer a ‘paint a pot’ experience where the children can paint a pot from the ‘Tiny Tots’ range. Cost £4.00 per child.
